Can't Get Enough....

As I sit here and write this my two kiddos are snuggling on the couch. Peyton CANNOT get enough of his sweet baby sister.. they are pretty inseparable. He wants to snuggle and hold her all the time and keeps saying "See Mom, everyone said I would get sick of her, and I'm not, I just love her so very much!" We are so very blessed to have such a beautiful family and such great kids! Dean and I are adjusting well to this new life that has been given us. Addy has her days and nights mixed up and I will be honest, sometimes its rough... but I just stare at her in the middle of the night and am so amazed at her sweet self. Through the crying and the feeding and the spitting up I still can't get enough of her. I have posted some new pictures (pictures we just can't stop taking) for our friends and family far away to see... I know, I know, picture overload, but wouldn't you take pictures of this sweet face all the time if it was staring you down all day?? ;)
Death grip on the binky!

Smooshed in her car seat... sooo cute!

I love to dress her up and get her ready for the day, she is a good sport!

Peyton doing what he does best... SNUGGLING her!

So precious rolled up in a ball!

Right after her first sponge bath at home.. this is her finally calming down after screaming at me for torturing her! :(

Mmmm...

Addyson Betty Burrows

She is here! We welcomed Addyson Betty Burrows to our family on March 6, 2010 at 3:03 p.m. She weighed in at 7 lbs 13 oz and 20 inches long! I eventually do want to post the whole story of how everything went for my own journaling records, however I have family who are waiting to see these pictures so for now, you get pictures! We are home and so happy to have her here! She has been visited by many and we cannot express how grateful we are for all the love, support and offers for anything and everything that have been given to us! We are truly blessed and couldn't be any happier right now! Until later.. please enjoy!

Scrub a Dub....

These pictures are sooo random. But lastnight Peyton was taking a bath (I normally make him shower but was feeling nice) And he called me in and this is what I found.. repeatedly... Made me realize the simple small moments and how much I do miss him when he is gone at his dads. I just sat in there and laughed.. I had my cell phone on me and so I hurried to snap some pictures. I sure do love my little boy and am glad for the 6 years of time we have had together! We are about to embark on a new adventure in life here in a couple weeks and juggling 2 will be challenging, but we are as ready as we can be!

Countdown is on.....

Well, we are now reaching the zero hour point! 28 days until induction day!! (March 8th) We hope she comes sooner, but aren't counting on anything!! Anyhow, as time starts to pass, my projects start piling up and the pressure has gone up! We finally almost have her room finished now, just a few finishind touches. So I won't post pictures until we are all ready!! I would like to say we have had more fun stuff going on to write about, but we really just don't!! I have been so exhausted and lazy and Dean has been busy working on Addy's room! Peyton has been at his dads for 2 weeks and we miss him alot however the break has been good for all of us to undwind and prepare for the big changes that will be happening around here!! Anyhow, enough rambling, here is one of the few projects that I have done lately! Stay tuned for more!! :)

A Letter to My Sweet Baby

I saw this on someone elses blog and it is exactly how I feel right now. So enjoy!

Dear Baby Addyson,
Your current eviction date of March 10th, 2010 has been set for 9 months. In the past few months, I understand that you have become extremely comfortable in your dwelling. Unfortunately, I did not discuss some of the key points of your lease with you.
The late night dance parties were not discussed in your lease, and they've been keeping me awake through the night.
The blockage of numerous amount of pipes and the leaking of others has to be put to an end!
Also, as far as adding square footage to the dwelling, we discussed a reasonable addition. You have surpassed that by much more than we discussed.
I have prepared another home for you to reside, so don't let house hunting be the reason you stay. Should your evicition date come and pass, please note that I will use forceful measures to remove you. I would like for this transition to be as painless and quick as possible. Please don't makes this any harder than it has to be.

Love,
MOM

It's Been Awhile...

It's been so long since I last posted it seems. We have been kinda busy, but I really have no excuses at all. Peytons birthday came December 5th as always. We had such a fun day yet it was such a bittersweet one for me. I can't believe that my baby has grown up so fast and is 6 years old. Seems like just yesterday I was a new mom wondering how I would ever raise this tiny baby that I knew nothing about. But I am so proud of the big kid he has become and happy that he is healthy and happy. I have pictures but I will post them later. Other than that we have been busily getting ready for Christmas. This is a special Christmas for me this year. I have been begging to go "home" for Christmas for the past couple years and finally this year is the year. We will be heading home to Idaho next Wednesday until Sunday and I can't wait! I have so many fond memories of being there as a child. I don't know where to start. Grandma's cooking, Christmas Eve with more than 20 people crammed into her house. There is something so special about it. I can't wait to have Peyton and Dean spend a Christmas there with me to enjoy what I remember so much. My grandpa has had such a rough year and sometimes I'm afraid this could be his last Christmas with us all, so we couldn't miss the opportunity to go and spend it with them. This is also my dads year for us to spend with him, so it all works out perfect. Thank you to Dean for being so willing to be away from your family for the first time in your life for this holiday. It does mean alot to me and I do appreciate it. Anyhow, until Christmas pictures and birthday pictures arrive, we will leave you with this...

Have a Very Merry Christmas Everyone!
