It's been so long since I last posted it seems. We have been kinda busy, but I really have no excuses at all. Peytons birthday came December 5th as always. We had such a fun day yet it was such a bittersweet one for me. I can't believe that my baby has grown up so fast and is 6 years old. Seems like just yesterday I was a new mom wondering how I would ever raise this tiny baby that I knew nothing about. But I am so proud of the big kid he has become and happy that he is healthy and happy. I have pictures but I will post them later. Other than that we have been busily getting ready for Christmas. This is a special Christmas for me this year. I have been begging to go "home" for Christmas for the past couple years and finally this year is the year. We will be heading home to Idaho next Wednesday until Sunday and I can't wait! I have so many fond memories of being there as a child. I don't know where to start. Grandma's cooking, Christmas Eve with more than 20 people crammed into her house. There is something so special about it. I can't wait to have Peyton and Dean spend a Christmas there with me to enjoy what I remember so much. My grandpa has had such a rough year and sometimes I'm afraid this could be his last Christmas with us all, so we couldn't miss the opportunity to go and spend it with them. This is also my dads year for us to spend with him, so it all works out perfect. Thank you to Dean for being so willing to be away from your family for the first time in your life for this holiday.
